The event also featured Tony Gonino as "Sam Walton 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year." CEO of Walmart U.S. John Furner discussed Walmart's impact on the community during the eclipse, the last time this phenomenon happened was in 1918.

ARKANSAS, USA — The 2024 Walmart Associate Celebration was held on Friday, June 7 and big celebrities made appearances throughout the event.
Associates from all over the world made their way to the Bud Walton Arena, to celebrate the retailer's accomplishments.
Peyton Manning was this year's host announcing the big performances, including Lizzo, Kacey Musgraves, the Backstreet Boys, Imagine Dragon and Usher.
Paris Hilton and Robert Downey Jr. also made appearances in between performances.
Lizzo made an appearance just after the opening at 8 a.m.
8:15 a.m. Peyton Manning was announced as this year's host.
8:30 a.m. The audience claps as Rob Walton's retirement was announced.
8:40 a.m. Tony Gonino is awarded "Sam Walton 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year."
9:05 CEO of Walmart U.S., John Furner, talks about Walmart's impact on the community during the eclipse. The last time this phenomenon happened was in 1918, the same year Sam Walton was born.
9:13 a.m. Paris Hilton made an appearance and announced the release of her new album.
10:00 a.m. Associates perform by singing together, dancing and playing instruments.
10:30 a.m. Walmart CEO Doug McMillon reflects on Walmart's beginnings, accomplishments, and future goals. He also told the stories of some of the associates Walmart is proud of. Each had a banner with their name hanging at the arena.
10:55 a.m. Usher performs and steps off stage to sing up close to the associates. He wrapped up the performance with the songs "Love in This Club" and "Yeah."
