Arkansas-filmed Nicolas Cage movie ‘Best Pancakes in the County’ releasing in November

Nicolas Cage's action-thriller film, “Best Pancakes in the County” is set to release in select theaters in November. The film was directed by Ken Sanzel and stars Cage, Justin Long and Shelley Hennig. The movie is set in a small-town diner where it becomes the center of a standoff between federal agents, a con man with a dangerous past and a waitress with secrets. The Encyclopedia of Arkansas indicates that the movie was shot in Little Rock, specifically on Pinnacle Valley Road. The Oscar-winning Cage is known for movies such as "National Treasure," "Con-Air," "Raising Arizona," and "The Rock."
