The city reported 18 of 23 public parks were open and 16 of 26 trails were open as of Monday, the release states.

Bentonville Parks and Recreation and Trailblazers, a local nonprofit that developed over 300 miles of the multi-use trails in Northwest Arkansas, are coordinating trail cleanup days, according to the release.

Some of Bentonville's biggest attractions including Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, Scott Family Amazeum, the Walmart Museum and the Museum of Native American History are also open and operational.

"We encourage everyone to continue enjoying the outdoor activities our region offers," said Kalene Griffith, Visit Bentonville's CEO, in the release.

"You can still enjoy a wide variety of cycling opportunities in Bentonville and the surrounding areas, and we welcome your visit. Our community appreciates your understanding and patience as we work to get all of our unrivaled mountain biking trails back up and running during what we believe will be a relatively short recovery period for the portion of our trails that are still under restoration," Griffith said.
