• OVC Men’s Basketball Report – December 29 (PDF) SIUE overcame a 14-point deficit to win 66-61 at Western Illinois, marking SIUE's first OVC victory of the season. Senior SIUE player, Malith, guided the team to victory, scoring a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds, helping them overcome a double-digit deficit to overcome Western Illinois. This marks the second time this season that Malith has been named OVC Player of the Week. Little Rock's Wallace had 25 points and ten rebounds as Little Rock topped Williams Baptist 98-84, marking his second-straight double-double. Eastern Illinois' Andre Washington and Jadis Jones also had high-scoring performances, including eight points, six rebounds and five assists in their respective games against East-West University. The OVC team is now eligible to compete in NCAA postseason play. Lindenwood and Southern Indiana have completed their classification to Division I and NOVC tournaments.
