Pine Bluff High opens new campus with 2,000-seat arena, career training facilities
Students, faculty and staff of Pine Bluff High School welcomed members of the general public to a red-ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, October 15, following a Pine Bluff High School in the area has officially opened a $74 million new campus, with a 2,000-seat arena, career training facilities, and a new security features. The 27-month long construction project was led by East Harding Construction Company, which broke ground on the new high school in June 2024. Additional renovations included an expanded Career & Technical Education building, a modernized cafeteria with a Zebra Bistro Coffee Shop, and an upgraded football stadium. The new high building was funded by the Pine Bluff high School Millage Campaign Committee and contributions from the community. Interim PBSD Superintendent Phillip Carlock expressed excitement about the educational opportunities provided in the new building.
