First Arkansas will continue to operate with the same leadership team and employees as a division of Sunstar. The merger will bring additional resources to First Arkansas to enhance their ability to serve clients throughout the state. Sunstar, founded in 2012 by David “Casey” Bowlin, is the 32nd largest property and casualty insurance agency in the U.S. as ranked by Insurance Journal.
