Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program expands with new Incubator Intensives in Little Rock
Incubator Intensives is the newest addition to the Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program's statewide expansion and is taking applications for Little Rock.The In The Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program (GORP) is expanding its Incubator Intensives program in Little Rock, a four-week program led by Elizabeth Quinn that teaches entrepreneurs how to develop an idea into a money-making business. The program requires applicants to have a legal corporate entity before joining the program. The last day for application is June 30, with decisions being made on July 31. The GORP received a $1.2 million grant to expand across the state and support founder creating innovative products and services within the outdoor recreation industry. The state added an additional $1 million to focus on recently designated opportunity zones for the outdoor economy.

Incubator Intensives is the newest addition to the Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program's statewide expansion and is taking applications for Little Rock.
The Incubator Intensives will lead a four-week program every Tuesday in September that will show participants how to turn an idea into a money-making business through sessions on marketing, financing, and building customer bases.
It requires all applicants to have, or plan to have a legal corporate entity before joining the program.
This event is open to all entrepreneurs in Pulaski County and adjacent counties.
June 30 is the last day to submit an application, with decisions going out July 31.
Classes will take place September 3, 10, 17, and 24.
“We welcome applications from entrepreneurs building products and services at the idea to launch stage within the outdoor economy,” said Elizabeth Quinn, senior program manager for GORP Around the State.
Quinn spoke about how the Intensives are meant to allow for a peer support network, with 1:1 consulting and mentoring.
The overseer of GORP, U of A Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation received a $1.2 million grant that they used to expand across the state and support founder creating innovative products and services within the outdoor recreation industry.
The state of Arkansas added an additional $1 million in GORP's effort to focus on recently designated opportunity zones for the outdoor recreation economy: Queen Wilhelmina State Park (Mena), Petit Jean State Park (Morrilton), Pinnacle Mountain State Park (Roland), and the Delta Heritage Trail State Park (West Helena).
