Winds calm… A strong cold front passed through Arkansas on Sunday, bringing a line of gusty showers and blustery conditions, with a peak wind gust of 51 miles per hour recorded in Little Rock. A Wind Advisory will remain in effect until 6 a.m. on Monday, December 29, for much of the state, with winds out of the northwest expected to gust between 20 and 25 mph. Temperatures will reach the upper 30s to low 40s under mostly sunny skies, with temperatures expected to reach mid-30s on New Year's Eve and mid-2026. The 50s are expected to return by Wednesday, the last day of 2025.
