It’s been six months since a traffic accident that destroyed the signal at Main Street and 6th Street in Mountain Home caused the intersection to become a temporary 4-way stop. Starting Monday residents will see the new traffic pole being installed with full restoration planned for the middle of that week.

KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot News spoke with Mayor Hillary Adams Wednesday and he says crews are already at work prepping the site for the installation.

The Mayor says the replacement had to be custom ordered to replace the prior pole and unexpected delays caused them to receive delivery just a couple weeks ago. Then severe storms on May 27 left crews with the pressing work of clearing debris, but now city workers are busy getting the signal restored.
